(more) adventures in babysitting

Last week we had our first sleepover with Minnie! Yes, we are brave! Although it was tiring, we all had a great time!

Of course we looked for little bugs in the backyard

Uncle Thomas was a jungle gym!

But he didn't seem to mind, he loves mins!

and so do i! We are cuddling up to watch 'a bugs life'.

We took a short intermission to dance to 'brown girl'.

Thomas really wanted to take minnie to chuck e. cheese!

poor kyan, we spent all of our day in the backyard, he had to wait to go to the park!

this is our cherry tree in full blossom . it smells so good!

not sure what kind of plant this is but kyan sure like to lay underneath it. Across from it is a purple lilac bush (not shown)

spring is in the air

"Hey Noah, you can take off your ear muffs, spring is here!"

WIth spring in the air we decided to see what was in our backyard and start getting it bee proofed! Mas is hanging our fake beehive that is supposed to trick the bees into thinking there are already bees living here. Hope it works!

And if the fake hive doesnt work then this sure will! we are ready to trap and kill if necessary!

Motionball Gala 2008

As always the Motionball Gala was so much fun! And the night wouldn't be complete without a self portrait!

Poor Sarah and Brad braved the weather and drove all the way from Guelph, it ended up taking almost 4 hours for them to get there! But I think they had a good time!

Happy 1st Birthday Kyan!

On Sunday it was Kyan's 1st Birthday. We decided to make it a dog day so we set out for his favourite places. We headed out to the beaches dog park, it was cold but there were a ton of dogs to chase. Next we went to get some special treats at Three dog bakery! YUM! And then we wandered around and bought some bones for later.
