Happy 1st Birthday Kyan!

On Sunday it was Kyan's 1st Birthday. We decided to make it a dog day so we set out for his favourite places. We headed out to the beaches dog park, it was cold but there were a ton of dogs to chase. Next we went to get some special treats at Three dog bakery! YUM! And then we wandered around and bought some bones for later.

A birthday photo with Mom!

The birthday "pup"cake

YUM!

No not yet! we haven't sung happy birthday!!

Yes, he is sitting at the table but we had to do it properly!

Dig in! I know he is spoiled but we LOVE him!

happy fur

It would seem that the pets love it here as much as we do! Here are a few so far.waiting for his dad to come home and take him to the park!

is this thing on?

ahhh! I love rolling on the new rug by the fire.

Upstairs after pics

Here are some of the after pictures from upstairs, we still have a few curtains to get up and things to put on the walls. I didn't take any pictures of the upstairs bathroom because I hate it! The downstairs isn't totally complete yet.

Living room

kyan was determined to be in the picture!

Upstairs room, much better then orange!

We still have to get some stuff up on the walls.

Kitchen - much brighter now.

Dining area sideways!

White cupboards are much better!

before

Ok, so here are the pictures of our house BEFORE we had it painted and you will see why we needed to have it professionally done.

Here are a few pics of our bedroom! Yep that's right it was bright yellow and orange and yes that is a giant framed poster on the wall.
more yellow...

This room was just white, hmm.. weird!
Before of the basement bathroom

Bright purple dining area, with...

dark blue walls and lavender trim, AND...

Lavender cupboards!

The living room - these pictures don't really do it justice. The walls, ceiling AND trim were all buttery yellow. Poor painters had their work cut out for them!

My personal fav! The bright orange unfinished, ran out of paint room! The ceiling and trim were also orange!

stay tuned for the after pics, you'll be surprised.
